We are currently working with a large-scale mechanical contractor based in the Dublin area. The company have a turnover more than €40 million and take pride in developing their staff while providing high class engineering solutions to their clients. The company have an impressive portfolio of clients in the healthcare, commercial, data centre and industrial sectors. They are looking to appoint several Skilled Labourer in South Dublin for contract positions.
About Your New Job
As a Skilled Labourer you will be tasked with the following:
- Site Preparation – Clear debris and set up site boundaries and access points.
- Material Handling – Load, unload, and distribute construction materials safely.
- Concrete Support – Assist with formwork, mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete.
- Brick Laying Support – Help prepare materials and assist with laying bricks or blocks.
- General Labouring – Assist with digging, lifting, and cleaning on site.
What Skills & Requirements You Need
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:
- Health & Safety – Knowledge of site safety protocols.
- Manual Handling – Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
- Tool Proficiency – Skilled with hand and power tools.
- Construction Knowledge – Familiarity with materials and building methods.
- Safe Pass & Manual Handling certificate
What’s on Offer
This role is Monday-Friday 40 hours per week paid at the union rate. After 40 hours, the successful applicant will receive an overtime/double time rate. You will be exposed to working on some of the largest construction projects in Dublin. Initially, this is a temporary role, but this may extend to a permanent role for successful candidates.
