About Your New Job
As the Quality Assurance Site Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining quality standards throughout the construction process. You’ll be the crucial link between the site, factory production, and design office to ensure timber frame installations are completed to the highest standard. Your core duties include:
- Site Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections of timber frame structures at various stages of the build, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Documenting & Reporting: Log site visits and compile detailed inspection reports, including photo and text documentation, to be uploaded to a cloud-based system.
- Liaison & Coordination: Act as a liaison between site teams, factory production, and the design office to ensure smooth communication and timely progress of projects.

What Skills You Need
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for quality and compliance, with the ability to spot and address issues on-site.
- Technical Knowledge: While prior experience in timber frame construction or building surveying is a plus, training will be provided. Basic understanding of construction processes is important.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to log and report on project progress, ensuring documentation is clear, accurate, and uploaded in a timely manner.
- Communication Skills: You will need to liaise between multiple departments, so effective communication is key.
