About Your New Job
- Build cohesive distributed SRE Teams.
- Ensure in-house and 3rd party SRE engagements align to product SLO, SLA and SLI and establish and enforce incident response time standards.
- Define and synchronize SRE launch, rollout, SLO, SLA, SLI plans, and error budget aligning to product lifecycle and GTM strategies.
- Create and support a collaborative engagement model across different teams within the product lineup.
- Define continuous improvement by establishing a feedback loop.
- Define and monitor SRE Effectiveness Metrics.
- Establish and coach Incident Commanders.
- Establish levels of severity.
- Defining the process path for how technical experts enter an incident and interact with the Incident Commanders and fellow responders.
What Skills You Need
- 5+ years of SRE technology leadership.
- 7+ years’ experience of hands-on experience in software development/Linux administration/operations engineering.
- Enterprise security experience is essential.
- Ability to educate the organisation about SRE advancement and KPI effectivity awareness.
- Strong experience of SLA management for internal and external customers.
- Must have a strong and evidential experience on automating variety of SRE facets, like capacity management, monitoring, change management, and incident response.
