They are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team and take charge of overseeing commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
About Your New Job
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects. The role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and an in-depth understanding of commercial construction processes. You will oversee the entire site team, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring efficient management of staff, contractors, and resources.
- Plan and coordinate project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all stages.
- Ensure the project adheres to all health, safety, and building regulations.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve any issues and keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Manage site documentation, including reports, budgets, and schedules.
- Ensure cost control and budget adherence, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Address any on-site challenges swiftly and effectively to minimize delays.
What Skills You Need
- Trade qualified or relevant 3rd level qualification
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Valid Safe Pass and manual handling certificates.
