About your new job as a Site Engineer
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer. The role involves supporting internal and external stakeholders in design, scheduling, construction, quality, cost management, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site/Project Manager in overseeing the project from start to completion.
- Strong knowledge of house building and infrastructure works.
- Proficient in setting out with total stations and GPS equipment.
- Experience using AutoCAD for as-built uploads and monthly valuations.
- Familiarity with BCAR and Irish Water document submissions.
- Collaborate with design consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to review monthly valuations.
- Manage technical and engineering requirements on-site (RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, etc.).
- Implement quality control measures aligned with the BCAR plan.
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors and the internal team to identify risks and opportunities.
What skill/experience you need for this Site Engineer job
- Relevant construction/engineering qualification.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- 4+ years of site engineering experience, including enabling works, groundworks, site development, and quality control on large-scale residential projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and document control systems (Procore, Zutec).
- Knowledge of the BCAR process for housing.
- Experience collating Irish Water Safety Files.
