- They are a manufacturer of sauces for the UK, Irish and European markets. They manufacture for premium and mid tier retailer brands as well as international brands.
- This role will see you managing a team of operations on the evening shift in a very busy production environment.
About Your New Job As Shift Manager
- As Shift Manager you will lead a team of production operators by a mix of hands on, line and area supervision. This is to ensure the shift runs smoothly and production levels are met/exceeded.
- Strong leadership skills to drive production performance of a cross functional team.
- Lead continuous improvements on the shift eliminating repeat issues or to work with wider continuous improvement projects.
- Supervise staff dealing with all day to day performance, attendance, HR and training issues.
- Identify and develop talent in team ensuring a culture of progression.
What Skills You Need For Your New Job As Shift Manager
- Knowledge of Food Production would be a distinct advantage for this position.
- Strong leadership experience is essential for this position – being able to lead and manage a team.
- Must be willing to work an evening shift with hours – 3:30pm-12pm (to be confirmed)
