About Your New Job
- Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge of financial reporting matters and regulations in the US with an ability to apply this knowledge to practical and commercial situations;
- Work closely with our clients’ and assist in maintaining and developing key client relationships;
- Support the coordination and coaching of junior team members to ensure their personal development and that standards are consistently
- Support the team to develop new business opportunities and assist with related proposal processes;
- Take full responsibility for leading client engagements and appropriately managing the respective budgets;
- Take responsibility for ensuring each client engagement is performed to our high-quality standard
- Deliver and prepare comprehensive training and support materials for on-site client training programmes/workshops;
- Actively help to develop high quality collateral on financial reporting matters for presenting to clients, conferences and publications;
What skills you need
- Trained in a Top 10 firm then gained 1 year or more within a financial accountant role in a multinational
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience translating to/from US GAAP and IFRS;
- An ability to perform effective research and convert complex accounting matters into clear and comprehensible deliverables;
