About Your New Role
We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer to manage essential on-site engineering tasks, ensuring all work meets design specifications and safety standards. This role involves high-profile projects and provides a unique opportunity to contribute to top-quality developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting Out: Establish site levels, grid lines, and structure positioning.
- Quality Control: Monitor workmanship and materials to meet specifications.
- Surveying: Conduct site surveys and confirm accuracy.
- Health & Safety: Enforce compliance with safety regulations on-site.
- Technical Support: Provide guidance and interpret engineering drawings.
- Coordination: Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Record Keeping: Document site progress, daily logs, and material usage.
- Problem Solving: Address technical issues during construction.
- Material Management: Oversee materials and timely delivery.
What Skills You Need
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective problem-solving and organizational skills
- Technical proficiency with construction drawings and surveying tools
- Team-oriented and adaptable to project needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Proficiency in setting-out equipment and familiarity with AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of health and safety practices and regulations
