About Your New Job as a Senior Project manager

  • Manage all aspects of project execution, including planning, scoping, prioritization, resource allocation, status reporting, and communication.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scopes, meet requirements, manage expectations, and communicate progress.
  • Develop and review technical specifications and bid documents for equipment, materials, and construction services.
  • Lead daily design and construction management, covering procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Provide engineering support for manufacturing processes and equipment, including system design, procurement, and construction, with A&E firm assistance if needed.
  • Maintain quality control to ensure industry standards and client expectations are met.
  • Tackle complex project issues and oversee projects from concept through commissioning and operation.
  • Coordinate new equipment introduction, focusing on problem-solving and troubleshooting before start-up.
  • Lead multidisciplinary site teams and contribute to investigations.
  • Promote safety and ensure projects comply with environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Supervise contingent workers, including construction managers and craft labor.
  • Present project updates to senior leadership and seek necessary approvals.
  • Limited travel may be required for project support.

What Skills You Need

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant experience.
  • 5 years of project management or engineering experience, preferably in the biotechnology or aseptic pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects from start to finish.
