My client, a leading financial services company is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager for their central Dublin office (Hybrid-3 days in the office and 2 days remote).This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced enterprise risk professional with proven ability to provide support as the most senior enterprise risk team member reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk.
The Senior Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the client's Risk Management Policy and Framework in line with the client's overall strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strategic view of the enterprise risk portfolio, advising senior management on risk exposure and organisational resilience.
- Develop the client's risk policies and practises and provide advice to various business stakeholders.
- Provide independent oversight of operational/enterprise risks.
- Provide ongoing management, including coaching, mentoring, and supervision of direct reports.
- Develop and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management System
- Provide leadership, management direction, and support to the Head of Enterprise Risk in the implementation of the annual Risk Management Plan.
- Implement and oversee the client's Assurance Testing Framework
Requirements for the role:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant senior risk role in the financial services or insurance sector
- Significant risk management knowledge and experience in leading a Risk Management Program.
- An in-depth understanding of risk management tools and methodologies.
- A good understanding of global financial markets and products.
