My client based in South Dublin have a requirement for an experienced credit controller as they are setting up a new credit control team

About Your New Job
- Manage debtor’s ledger in accordance with company’s credit policies, procedures, and processes.
- Provide a high-volume client credit control service, primarily using telephone calls to contact and secure payment plans with clients agreement, being pleasant but persistent.
- Comprehensive credit control of portfolio to ensure all overdue debtors are appropriately followed up
- Ensure cash collection is maximised and meets KPI targets.
- Draft, issue, and record disconnection letters for failed payment.
- Manage debtor’s ledger in accordance with company’s credit policies, procedures, and processes.
- Point of contact for all customer billing queries.
- Work autonomously but the ability to escalate collection matters as soon as identified to Management.
- Preparation of monthly debtor reconciliation and reports.
- Ownership of invoiced customer set up, matching direct debits to invoices.
- Assisting with preparation of monthly reporting pack.
- Assisting with preparation of Year End Accounts and liaising with auditors.
- Other ad hoc duties as required also to include finance administration.
- Build strong relationships with all parties to work together as a team.
What skills you need
- 3 years or more strong credit control experience
- Would be an advantage to have a credit qualification
- Some accounts admin exp
