About Your New Job
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services.
- Ensure code quality.
- Design and manage databases.
- Create and maintain APIs for internal and external use.
- Work closely with frontend developers, product managers and other stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain security best practices.
- Produce clear and concise documentation.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
What Skills You Need
- 4+ years experience in backend development.
- Strong Python experience, ideally with Django.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience designing and developing GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Cloud experience, preferably AWS.
- Experience building internal facing tools to support the business.
- Understanding of security principles and best practices.
