About Your New Job
- Supervise and Assure Quality: You will supervise and ensure the quality and timeliness of all scheduling and planning activities.
- Drive Standardization: Drive standardization into the scheduling process and oversee any contracted scheduling services.
- Schedule Detail Management: Ensure appropriate schedule detail levels are utilized based on project execution requirements and phases.
- Resource Loading: Ensure schedules are properly loaded with project resources to facilitate effective staffing and resource density analysis.
- Performance Metrics: Ensure key metrics and benchmarks are in place to gauge schedule performance and promote continuous improvement.
- Change Management: Ensure the schedule supports the change management process.
- Lead Meetings: Lead schedule update meetings as required.
- Primavera P6 Management: Develop and maintain complex Primavera P6 project schedules, including WBS structure development, logic links, constraints, resource loading, progress tracking, earned value reporting, and float management.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned.
What Skills You Need
- Experience and Proficiency: 5+ years’ experience in the commercial construction industry and 10+ years of scheduling experience preferred. Proficient in using Primavera P6 (resource and cost loading).
- Technical and Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional organization and coordination skills, and a thorough understanding of proven scheduling techniques and practices, including CPM concepts and earned value management. Experience integrating schedule and BIM model is desired.
