Sales and Account Manager
Location: Connaught Region, with occasional travel to Donegal.
Type of contract: Permanent
Salary: €50,000 to €60,000 per annum depending on experience

About Your New Job:
- Develop and expand business relationships with Merchants, Housebuilders, Commercial, and Main Contractors in the Greater Connaught region.
- Manage key customer accounts and develop strategic relationships with decision-makers.
- Promote the full range of paving and walling products and services to both new and existing customers.
- Provide accurate cost calculations and quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales.
- Handle customer complaints proactively, ensuring high post-sale satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- Set and manage account and territory plans, maintaining a healthy pipeline through a CRM system.
- Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, Local Authorities, and Contractors to develop key relationships and support marketing activities.
What Skills/Experience You Need:
- A 3rd level qualification is desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, particularly in the building materials or quarry products industry, with a focus on Merchants, Housebuilders, and Commercial customers.
- Proven ability to create and maintain positive customer relationships and a strong commercial focus.
- Technical sales experience with materials and processes in the building industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proactive attitude.
