Role Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Production Shift Team Leader to oversee shift operations and support team performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in meeting output targets, improving processes, and maintaining high standards across safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily activities across designated production areas
- Lead and motivate team members to consistently meet output and quality goals
- Monitor key performance indicators and take action to improve results
- Promote continuous improvement through LEAN practices (6S, TPM, Kaizen)
- Conduct shift briefings and ensure clear communication across the team
- Work closely with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues and drive efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies, particularly in safety and quality
- Support onboarding and ongoing development of production staff
- Provide structured handovers and assist with planning and resource allocation
What You’ll Need:
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar supervisory role in manufacturing or repair
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to performance improvement
- Familiarity with LEAN tools and production best practices
- Relevant qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in a related field)
