A well-known West Cork Company are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join their Production Team.
About your new job
- Operate production lines, pack products, build pallets, and assist with cleaning to meet production goals.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Report any safety incidents or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the team to set up production lines, perform quality checks, and ensure materials are ready.
- Perform prestart, hygiene, and safety checks as instructed.
- Adhere to GMPs, SOPs, and all regulatory, food safety, quality, and hygiene requirements.
- Accurately document required information in a timely manner.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, damage, or issues to the Production Supervisor and use machinery safely.
- Record checks as instructed.
- Participate in lean manufacturing processes and support continuous improvements in food hygiene and housekeeping.
What skill/experience you need
- Experience in operating and troubleshooting food production machinery is advantageous.
- Skills in inspecting products, packaging, and labels, reporting defects, and ensuring customer compliance are important.
- Knowledge of hygiene standards for maintaining clean work areas is required.
