Job description

About Your New Job

  • Implement the production plan on the shop floor.
  • Oversee 2 supervisors, including conducting one-on-ones, managing performance, handling absences, and conducting pay reviews.
  • Ensure daily compliance with 5S, Health & Safety (H&S), Quality, and Food Safety standards.
  • Manage weekly staff schedules and daily labor assignments.
  • Ensure shift start-ups and handovers are smooth and efficient.
  • Use IT systems to communicate with and monitor the production team.
  • Lead daily pulse meetings and make sure supervisor huddles are effective.
  • Follow and enforce company procedures and management routines.
  • Implement the Employee Handbook and promote Company Values.
  • Address employee concerns promptly and maintain a respectful and dignified workplace.
  • Oversee the absence and pay review process for production staff.
  • Take part in HR investigations and hearings when needed.
  • Handle line responsibilities as assigned.

What's Required:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience in food production is a strong advantage.
  • Strong skills in people management and supervision.
  • Familiarity with HACCP/BRC standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and think creatively and strategically.
  • Willingness to learn and a focus on continuous improvement.
