Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Injection Moulding Process Engineer to join our client in North Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in injection moulding processes, including machine setup, troubleshooting, process optimization, and quality control. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and quality of our clients injection moulding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize experience from working in the medical, packaging, or technological industries.
- Engage with customers, drawing on past experience in customer interactions.
- Apply knowledge of real-time monitoring systems to optimize processes.
- Demonstrate and utilize expertise in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Conduct data analysis using statistical software, preferably Minitab.
- Leverage knowledge of computer systems, integrated manufacturing systems, word processing, and spreadsheets; familiarity with MFG Pro is a plus.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in injection moulding processes.
- In-depth knowledge of injection moulding machines, tooling, and related equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
