Principal Cloud Engineer – Asset Management
We are seeking an experienced Principal Cloud Engineer to join our Asset Management - Equity Technology team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the development teams to understand their needs and deliver full-stack solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and manage AWS cloud services as part of the application ecosystem, ensuring scalable and robust solutions.
- Provide leadership on DevOps tools and practices, improving CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Lead architecture and application design efforts, promoting best practices and industry standards.
- Focus on optimizing the developer experience, supporting the team’s goals to streamline development processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong background in application development, with expertise in AWS cloud technologies.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, TypeScript, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or Groovy.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, with exposure to tools for automation and deployment pipelines.
- Proven leadership abilities, with strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams.
