Job Title: Personal Assistant to the Founder
Location: Office based in Sligo
Contract type: This is a 2 year contract initially with the strong potential of becoming permanent after 2 year's
Salary on Offer: €45,000 - €50,000, depending on experience

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PA to join a Medical Device company based in Sligo. 

About this PA Job Opportunity:
This position reports into the Founder and is responsible for all business and personal related duties.  The position will provide wide ranging PA, administration, clerical and project management support to the Founder. The successful candidate will hold a trusted position. Flexibility is a key requirement and the candidate must be able to accommodate spontaneous changes to plans and routines (within office hours).

Responsible for:

  • Screen and monitor communications including emails, invitations, letters and respond directly or advise the Founder
  • Review, modify and/or summarise presentations and other documents at senior management / board level.   
  • Coordination and scheduling of calendar, travel and diary including business and personal arrangements
  • Manage events and meetings including set-up, location, agenda, participants and facility arrangements
  • Serve as a liaison between the Founder and stakeholders including employees and consultants as directed
  • Manage recruitment for new team members
  • Work collaboratively with a range of internal and external colleagues and assist them in the interests of the Founder
  • Write and collate materials and proof read documents
  • Manage accounts to a book keeping standard including management of expense reports

Key Skills, Attributes and Experience needed for this Job role:

  • Minimum 5 year’s recent work experience within a PA role
  • Highly organised and detail oriented
  • Flexible and willing to undertake varied responsibilities (ad hoc errands)
  • Highly discreet and confidential
  • Able to multitask and prioritize well even in pressurised environments
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Proactively identified and resolve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and competent at building relationships with stakeholders including employees, consultants, investors and board members
  • Resourceful individual
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications, Gmail, Calendar, iPhone or Android smartphone applications
  • Have own car (mileage expenses are covered for travel that is not to/from the office)
  • Must hold a clean driving license
  • Able and willing to travel (Travel tends to be local and within Sligo).
