About Your New Job as a Mechanical Technician
- MRSA: Conduct Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned, remedial, and project works.
- Work Assessment: Evaluate tasks, provide detailed reports, quotations, and remedial recommendations with costs upon completing reactive tasks.
- Coordination: Communicate regularly with the Helpdesk to schedule work on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Support: Offer maintenance assistance to the team for all ongoing projects.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute planned preventative maintenance for various systems and services.
- Reactive Repairs: Ensure minimal downtime on plant and equipment through efficient reactive repairs.
- Efficiency: Deliver maintenance services proactively and effectively.
- Versatility: Perform general building fabric and operative tasks as needed.
What Skills You Need
- Trade Certification: Recognized qualifications in Plumbing or HVAC systems.
- Experience: Over 3 years in a similar role.
- Expertise: Previous experience with planned preventative maintenance and fault-finding.
- Safety Training: Completed Health & Safety training.
