On the back of continued growth, they require a Mechanical Estimator to join the team in Dublin.
About Your New Job
The Mechanical Estimator will oversee the entire estimating process for mechanical projects, from initial concept to final bid submission. This role involves managing a team of estimators, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring that all estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in mechanical estimating, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.
What Skills & Qualifications You'll Need
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying/or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical estimating, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related fields.
- Proficiency in estimating software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
