About your new employer

Our client is a leading facilities management provider working across Ireland and Europe. They are one of the leaders in integrated FM contracts, that include technical services, energy, and BMS, cleaning, security and front of house. The company have won numerous awards for being an employer of choice in the last number of years with a particular focus on the area of employee well being. Their client are a commercial premises on the south side of Dublin that will be 3/4 days per week on site and the other day working with the mobile team.

 

Your new job

The maintenance electrician will look after any electrical issues and provide technical support to clients on various office, educational and industrial facilities across Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety during all work.
  • Complete method statements and risk assessments for all tasks.
  • Perform tasks as directed by the Contract Manager.
  • Provide reports and cost estimates after jobs.
  • Schedule work by coordinating with the Helpdesk.
  • Complete paperwork on time.
  • Prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Communicate with clients and team to ensure work is done properly.
  • Offer technical support and be a point of contact for issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems.
  • Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize downtime.

 

 About you:

  • The ideal candidate will be a Fully Qualified Electrician with 2+ years’ experience in a commercial environment with valid up to date certifications.
  • Knowledge of HVAC controls, Fire Alarm controls is an advantage along with a knowledge of PPM Systems.

 

What's on offer

The package includes a salary of circa €55000 along with a vehicle, fuel card, annual leave purchase scheme, employers pension scheme and some other soft benefits.
