About your new job:
My client, a leading international provider to the telecoms, Transport infrastructure and power sectors are looking to hire a Group Insurance Manager on a 12 month FTC. As the Insurance Manager you will oversee their Self-Insured group Insurance programs and will have a strong background in Claims, Risk Management and Compliance coupled with the gravitas to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve strategies for managing our self-insured program, including claims management, risk assessment, and mitigation.
- Work closely with third-party administrators (TPAs), brokers, and consultants to optimise claims performance and minimize risk.
- Monitor and evaluate the claims process to ensure timely and accurate processing and identify opportunities to reduce claim costs through effective management and intervention.
- Communication and management of vendors and brokers regularly.
- Onboarding and insurance compliance management of high volumes of sub-contractors.
- Stay up to date with regulations impacting group insurance programs and ensure the company’s self-insured programs remain compliant with applicable laws
What Skills you need:
- 5+ years of experience in group insurance management, preferably in a self-insured environment.
- Minimum CIP accreditation
- Previous experience managing a team and working cross-functionally with other departments.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale programs, including motor and liability insurance programs.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data trends.
