My client is at the forefront of innovation in the energy industry, enabling the transition towards a low-carbon, technology-enabled smart future. They are hiring a Solicitor provide legal advice to the business on a wide range of complex land/property related issues particularly in relation to infrastructure projects. The Solicitor will also advise on commercial and regulatory matters as needed.
Your New Role
The Solicitor will provide legal advice to the business on a wide range of complex commercial, contractual, construction, procurement and regulatory matters affecting the business.
- Provision of legal advice in relation to land/property aspects of key infrastructure projects of the Group. This will include advising on landowner engagement, acquisition of land rights, exercise of statutory land rights and asset transfer.
- Advising on land and access related disputes with landowners.
- Provision of legal advice to the business on commercial, planning and regulatory matters affecting the business, as needed.
What Skills You Need
- Qualified Solicitor with 1 – 4 years PQE gained at a leading law firm or in-house, preferably within the energy industry or a relevant regulated industry
- Proven track record of proactively organising and managing high workload and ability to effectively deal with a wide range of complex legal matters across a variety of legal fields demonstrating experience in at least a number of the following areas: Property, Planning & Environmental, Infrastructure Projects.
