My client is at the forefront of innovation in the energy industry, enabling the transition towards a low-carbon, technology-enabled smart future. They are hiring a Solicitor to work closely with the business as part of a small professional in-house legal services team and will support the business in delivering the Group Strategy, demonstrating the values and behaviours of the group.
Your New Role
The Solicitor will provide legal advice to the business on a wide range of complex commercial, contractual, construction, procurement and regulatory matters affecting the business.
- Provision of legal advice to the Business on a wide range of complex commercial, construction, contractual, corporate, procurement and regulatory matters affecting the business.
- Provision of effective legal advice, support and guidance to the business, tailored to meet the needs of the audience and presented in accessible language that can be understood by all.
- Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to identify legal issues, solutions and efficiencies.
What Skills You Need
- Qualified Solicitor with 1 – 4 years PQE gained at a leading law firm or in-house, preferably within the energy industry or a relevant regulated industry
- Proven track record of proactively organising and managing high workload and ability to effectively deal with a wide range of complex legal matters across a variety of legal fields demonstrating experience in at least a number of the following areas: Commercial Contracts, Construction, Infrastructure Projects, Procurement and Regulation.
