Job location: This role can be based in either Galway (East Galway) or Dublin

About the employer

This new job opportunity is with a global company (approximately 60,000 employees worldwide and 400 in Ireland). They have offices Nationwide with their corporate Head Office in Dublin and their largest site in Galway.

 

You will be joining an established HR team including a HRM, HRBPs, L&D and Health & Safety.

 

The role responsibilities

The role responsibilities will include; System Administration (maintaining the HRIS platform, update the HRIS platform with leavers and starters). Reporting and Analysis (Generate HR reports, oversee holiday balance reporting for the group, develop standardised and ad-hoc reports for HR including workforce planning and headcount reporting) and HR Administration (Support HR administration throughout the employee life cycle including; digitised contracts of employment, personnel files, pre employment medicals, recruitment and onboarding).

This company does offer hybrid working to employees however it is important that this person works on site every-day for the probationary period and the potential to work hybrid beyond that can then be reviewed.

 

The ideal candidate

  • Level 7 or 8 degree or a diploma qualification in HR or Business Information Systems.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer systems, particularly; MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and advanced Excel including charts, vlookups, pivot tables and more advanced formulas for manipulating data. Power BI would also be an advantage.
  • Whilst prior experience within HR is not essential, it would be beneficial if applicants have a genuine interest in HR.
