HR Associate – Be the First Point of Connection at a Leading Financial Services Company!

Are you passionate about people and driven to make a difference in a fast-paced, high-impact environment? My Galway client is looking for an experienced HR Associate to join their HR team and provide essential support in shaping the onboarding experience for new hires. You’ll play a key role in the recruitment lifecycle—from ensuring a smooth onboarding to maintaining compliance and managing HR systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create Connections: Welcome new hires before they start, confirming key details and setting up essential appointments. Be the friendly face and go-to contact in their onboarding journey!
  • Run the Show: Lead weekly orientation sessions, ensuring a warm, informative, and engaging experience that sets the tone for a great start.
  • Handle Compliance Like a Pro: Keep all records accurate and up-to-date, scan and process documentation, and ensure compliance reporting is handled with precision.
  • Manage Key Pre-Employment Processes: Oversee background checks and other pre-employment tasks to ensure smooth, compliant, and timely onboarding.
  • Keep HR Systems Running Smoothly: Process everything from new hires and terminations to pay adjustments and critical updates for new managers and cost centers. Your organizational skills will shine!
  • Be the Backbone of the HR Team: Provide critical administrative support to keep daily operations running seamlessly and efficiently.

The Experience You’ll Bring

  • Experience and Knowledge: 3-5 years in HR or administration with a focus on onboarding, HR systems, or compliance. Experience in financial services is a bonus but this is not essential.
  • Tech Savviness: Proficiency with HR software (e.g., Taleo or similar systems) and a good understanding of compliance processes.
  • Organization & Detail-Orientation: Strong multitasking skills and a knack for handling multiple priorities with precision.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with new hires and the HR team alike.
  • Self-Starter Attitude: Ability to work independently, stay organized, and deliver top-notch results in a dynamic environment.
