- They are a manufacturer of sauces for the UK, Irish and European markets. They manufacture for premium and mid tier retailer brands as well as international brands.
- This role will sit on the Senior Leadership Team of the company working closely with all other Senior Leaders on site.
About Your New Job As The Head Of NPD
- As Head of NPD you will be the lead person on the development of new and existing products including packaging.
- To lead the development and understanding of technologies and assist with the evaluation of equipment.
- Responsible for all process development including establishing relevant criteria in conjunction with Quality Control.
- As a member of the Senior Management Team, to nurture and promote the desired company culture including a focus on continuous improvement and lean principles.
- Champion existing and new product’s change implementation until the change is routine and handed to Production and Quality departments to maintain.
What Skills You Need For Your New Job As The Head Of NPD
- Ideally you will hold a degree in a food related area along with a minimum of 5 years working in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferably with knowledge of heat and acid preservation.
