Group Financial Accountant - Galway City
About Your New Employer:
Our client is a leading Galway based company in the healthcare sector. They are looking for a qualified Accountant to join their growing finance team.
About Your New Job:
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for completion of month end functions to support the timely and accurate management reporting.
- Preparation and analysis of monthly departmental cost reviews.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Co-ordinate and participate in the drafting of the Group single entity financial statements.
- Participate in half year and year end reporting including financial statement preparation.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to support the delivery of interim and year end audit and tax.
- Support the annual and quarterly budgeting process.
What Skills You Will Need:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) 2+ PQE with relevant industry experience, preferably with Big 4 training.
- Strong technical background in US GAAP and IFRS.
- Self-motivated and innovative.
- Excellent communication with ability to collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of NetSuite/ similar ERP systems.
