About Your New Job
As part of the labour crew, you will work on-site in West Cork helping to erect timber-framed houses. Here’s what you can expect in your new role:
- Assemble Timber Frames: Work alongside skilled carpenters and roofers to assemble and install timber frame structures with speed and precision.
- Roofing & Carpentry: You will support various aspects of carpentry and roofing, from framing to final touches, ensuring the high-quality build of homes.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all health and safety guidelines on-site.
You’ll be part of a close-knit team, with the opportunity to work on exciting construction projects from start to finish.
What Skills You Need
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Basic Carpentry Skills: Experience in carpentry, roofing, or general construction will be key. No advanced carpentry skills are required, but an understanding of the basics is a must.
- Physical Stamina: This is a hands-on, physically demanding role. You’ll need to be comfortable working on your feet, handling tools, and working at heights.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team is essential, as you'll be collaborating with others on-site daily.
