About Your New Role as a Fit Out Site Manager

In your new role as a Fit Out Site Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the fit-out process. They will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and the internal project team to ensure the seamless delivery of fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all site activities, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure all project specifications are met.
• Supervise and manage subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Resolve any on-site issues or challenges efficiently.
• Manage site documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure that all work complies with building regulations and safety standards.

What Skills You Need for this Fit Out Site Manager role

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within the fit-out sector.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out processes, construction techniques, and building regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Solid understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
• A valid Safe Pass and manual handling certificates.
