A financial planning practice in Cork City is looking for a financial administrator to help in the everyday running of the office as well as support the financial planning process.
About Your New Role
- Keep detailed records and complete administrative tasks such as paperwork and correspondence.
- Preparing notes and other requirements for client files.
- Managing paperwork flow from initial meeting stage through to the implementation stage.
- Prepare internal reports for the firm on agreed key measurements.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial plans and reports.
- Provide preliminary financial analysis and support in the creation of financial plans and strategies.
- Manage correspondence, filing systems, and ensure data confidentiality and security.
- Handle office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Arrange weekly/monthly meetings, prepare presentations, and take minutes at meetings.
What Do You Need
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Office Assistant, or similar role, with exposure to financial planning or paraplanning.
- Understanding of financial planning principles and paraplanning practices.
- Strong organizational, planning, and financial analytical skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) and financial planning software.
- Willing to be part of a team and critically on your own initiative.
- Strong ability for multi-tasking.
- Have the ability to manage own workload.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Excellent typing skills.
QFA qualified ideally but not essential
