Working for a leading Irish-owned Food related company dedicated to providing innovative solutions to the Retail and consumable industry. Due to rapid growth they are looking for a Field Sales Executive to sell to Retailers throughout Leinster with a particular focus on the Greater Dublin area.
About your new Field Sales Job:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities while also managing and building on relationships with existing clients. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, a strong understanding of the food & retail industry, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities include:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Greater Dublin area to drive sales growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering loyalty.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales tactics and product offerings.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of product ranges and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and market feedback to the management team using their CRM system.
- Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
What skills you need for this Business Development Job
- At least 2 years proven experience in field sales, preferably within the retail, food or ingredients sector.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You need to be a hunter with good skills at building relationships and getting repeat business
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel within the Greater Dublin area.
- Living within easy access to the M50
