About Your New Job
- As the Sustainability Manager, you will be pivotal in driving sustainable agriculture initiatives across the region.
- You’ll work closely with farmer-suppliers to communicate our sustainability strategy, foster relationships, and support their goals.
- This role involves collaboration with stakeholders, including agricultural advisors, cooperative partners, and sustainability teams, to implement and enhance farm performance programs that support sustainable farming.
What Skills You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Environmental Science, with strong knowledge in farm systems and sustainability.
- Proven experience working with farmers or primary producers in an advisory or consulting role, with the ability to communicate complex information in a straightforward manner.
- Strong networking and team leadership abilities, with experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with greenhouse gas emissions as they relate to farm systems is desirable.
