About Your New Job
As the Site Lead, you will oversee the integrated facilities management (IFM) operations, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and aligned with client expectations. You will lead a team responsible for maintaining building services, equipment, utilities, and ensuring compliance with cGMP standards. This role requires a strong technical background in engineering and experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You will report to senior management and work closely with key client contacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of facilities management, ensuring that operational and financial targets are met.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring monthly expenditures are controlled and aligned with client and company expectations.
- Supervise and support a team of operational employees, ensuring their growth, performance, and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards, ensuring all operations follow current good manufacturing practices (cGMP).
- Foster positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring the IFM services meet contractual KPIs and SLAs.
- Manage both soft services (food services, cleaning, landscaping) and hard services (HVAC systems, black utilities, clean room validation, etc.).
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Manage the calibration program and maintain accurate cGMP records, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Partner with the Site Maintenance technicians to ensure upkeep of all black and clean utility systems and no business interruption
What Skills You Need
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar facilities management role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Mechanical or Electrical qualification with a strong technical understanding of building management systems and utilities.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
