Our client is one of the world’s leading facility management companies and they are looking to appoint a Fabric Technician to a client site in Dublin City Centre. They are a global leader in commercial property providing services for offices, retail, hotels healthcare etc. This role is based on a new state of the art commercial building for a leading multinational tech firm.
About Your New Job
- You will handle a variety of maintenance and grounds keeping tasks, such as general repair work, carpentry, addressing plumbing issues and blockages, painting, fixing floors, repairing furniture, completing tiling projects, plastering, and related repairs.
- Performing installations and repairs related to building fabrics.
- Coordinate with colleagues and specialist contractors to ensure all requests are addressed promptly.
- Spotting problems is vital, and you take a proactive approach by performing weekly walkthroughs of the building to identify any areas in need of maintenance
- To uphold standards, you will conduct quality audits on suppliers, utilizing our client’s quality systems where appropriate
- Assisting with the Projects team as needed with extensive refurbishments and renovations.
What Skills You Need
You must have experience working in a maintenance role with a knowledge of building systems such as carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing. Excellent customer facing and problem-solving abilities.
