About Your New Job

The client is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the electrical projects and ensure compliance with safety standards, quality, and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage teams effectively with other key responsibilities below:

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work on various projects.
  • Lead and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure timely and quality execution of work.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports on labor, materials, and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

What Skills You Need

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field (e.g., Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Electrical Engineering).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid electrical trade license and relevant certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling).
