About Your New Job
This position, based in Dublin, will play a crucial role in their operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and proven experience in managing design projects from inception to completion.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the site team to manage the project’s setting out, focusing on coordinating architectural and engineering information.
- Working alongside the site team to coordinate utilities and services, facilitating communication between mechanical and electrical engineers and relevant utility providers.
- Partnering with the Project Manager and/or Site Manager to prepare and maintain the information requirements schedule.
- Overseeing and managing the technical submittal process for all components required for the project’s construction, including creating and maintaining a tracking system to monitor the status of technical submittals in accordance with the contract programme.
- Address all queries raised during the contract promptly and ensure they are properly documented and resolved efficiently.
What Skills You Need
Relevant Third level qualification (Engineering or Architectural) and 5 years’ industry experience working as a Design Manager on Commercial/Residential and or Data Centre, Industrial
Previous Main Contractor experience is desirable but not essential
Experience with commercial fit outs is a great advantage
Excellent attention to detail and organisational / planning skills and the ability to self-manage, prioritise, and work to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills with both colleagues and clients will be needed for this role
