About Your New Job
As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective project execution. Your role will include:
- Managing multiple renewable energy projects simultaneously, focusing on budget, timeline, and reporting.
- Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders throughout construction phases.
- Identifying and resolving issues to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and grid code standards.
- Supporting the development of tender documentation and negotiating contracts.
- Leading Owner’s Engineer services and enhancing the project delivery team’s development.
What Skills You Need
To excel in the Construction Project Manager role, you should have:
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering.
- 4+ years’ experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in construction management with multiple projects.
- Strong knowledge of MV/HV electrical designs and grid connections.
- Familiarity with construction and health & safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license for UK & Ireland.
