About Your New Job
- Client Relations: Maintain good relations with clients and their representatives, representing the company's interests at meetings.
- Contract Management: Carefully examine contract documents, highlight anomalies, and ensure adherence to all contract obligations.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare detailed financial outcomes, valuations, and cost reconciliations. Oversee the recovery of all monies entitled to the company.
- Team Leadership: Provide direction, support, and instruction to direct reports, promoting continual improvement and responsibility.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and safeguarding company interests.
What Skills You Need
- Relevant Experience: Over 5 years' experience working in the construction industry, particularly in public sector contracts.
- Educational Background: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Professional Membership: Membership of a relevant Professional Institution is preferred but not essential.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and fluent English.
- Driving License: Full clean Irish/EU Driving License.
