About the company

We are looking for a Change Management Consultant to work in a leading medical device company in Galway on a 24-month contract. You will be responsible for providing expertise and support in managing organizational changes within a specific timeframe. This can be a fully remote role so have an opportunity to work anywhere.

 

About your new job as a Change Management Consultant

  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to define the scope and objectives of the change.
  • Assess the impact on employees, processes, and systems.
  • Develop a detailed change management plan with strategies, activities, and timelines.
  • Identify and analyze stakeholders affected by the change.
  • Create engagement strategies to build support and ensure buy-in.
  • Communicate clear and timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Implement a communication plan for consistent messaging.
  • Develop materials like emails, newsletters, and FAQs.
  • Coordinate training sessions to prepare employees for the changes.
  • Prepare progress reports for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Conduct assessments to identify risks and challenges.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate resistance and barriers.
  • Monitor and adjust change initiatives based on feedback.
  • Work with teams to execute the change plan.
  • Provide ongoing support to employees and managers.
  • Facilitate change-related meetings and workshops.
  • Keep accurate records of change activities, including lessons learned.

 What skill/experience you need as a Change Management Consultant

  • Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Experience in change management, preferably as a contractor or consultant.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Adaptable to various organizational cultures and stakeholder groups.
  • Project management skills for timely execution of change initiatives.
  • Analytical problem-solver for change implementation challenges.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Proficient with change management software and relevant technology.
