Our Tier 1 Client in the City Centre is looking to recruit a BCaR Co-ordinator with Commercial Interiors experience.
About your new job as a BCaR Co-ordinator
- Set up subcontractor-specific templates and trackers as needed and attend pre-award meetings to ensure contracts align with BCaR requirements.
- Hold workshops with subcontractors to review BCaR expectations upon project appointment.
- Review material submittals for relevant data sheets (e.g., Declarations of Performance, CE certificates) to ensure BCaR compliance.
- Attend meetings with key stakeholders (e.g., Assigned Certifier, design team) and internal STL meetings as required.
- Arrange and lead meetings with stakeholders as needed.
- Track benchmark inspections, record consultant feedback, and distribute to relevant parties, ensuring approval before project completion.
- Request and follow up on subcontractor inspections, escalating noncompliance to the BCaR Manager and project team.
- Conduct regular site inspections to document progress and ensure due diligence.
- Collect BCaR/Handover checklists from consultants and track document submissions.
- Provide regular updates to the BCaR Manager, Project Manager, and Project Director, escalating any risks or compliance issues immediately.
What skill/experience you need for this BCaR Co-ordinator job
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of BCAR experience, particularly in commercial interiors and fit-outs.
- Knowledge of BCMS and strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
