About the Company

Our client provides fit-out and contract services to clients across the UK and internationally, catering to the office, residential, and hospitality sectors.  They are now looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team.  Travel around Ireland will be essential.

About your new job as an Assistant Project Manager

  • Oversee and lead office fit-out projects from concept to completion, ensuring client visions are fully realized.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Deliver all projects on time, within scope, and monitor project performance using appropriate tools and systems.
  • Define project scope and objectives, engaging all key stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, collaborating with the sales support team to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation, adapting to shifting priorities as needed, including overseeing and delegating tasks to on-site crew managers.
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress, provide business updates, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Act as a key decision-maker and point of contact for large-scale office fit-out projects.
  • Manage relationships respectfully and assertively to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and health & safety standards.
  • Prepare necessary technical documentation, including customs-related paperwork.

What skill/experience you need for this Assistant Project Manager Job

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering commercial projects; industry experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum of 4 years of project management experience.
  • Expertise in applying project management methodology to deliver commercial projects from design to completion.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple objectives simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Passion and drive to help clients bring their visions to life.
