My client, a leading newly established global asset management company is seeking a Fund Accountant Specialist for their central Dublin office (Hybrid-2 days in the office and 3 days remote).
The Accounting Department is currently comprised of a broad range of functions, including: fund accounting; operations; position, P&L and exposure reporting; valuation; risk management design and reporting; and liquidity management.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting and review of a complete set of fund maintained books and records, in partnership with the global Fund Accounting team.
- Calculate NAV of funds
Fund expense allocations and reporting.
Monitor the cash reconciliation and accuracy of interest, dividend, and other accruals.
The position involves heavy interaction with the trading desk, operations, legal, tax, and investor relations/marketing global teams.
Requirements for the role:
- At least 3 years experience in Fund Accounting, in Private Equity or Hedge funds
- Third level qualification in Finance or Accounting (or related field)
Preferable:
- ACCA Qualification not essential
