About Your New Employer
A global packaging company are looking for a Sales Rep with packaging sales experience to cover East Cork/ Waterford/ Wexford.
The ideal candidate will both manage accounts and bring in new business.
Target industries are Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Engineering, Electronics.
Based in office in Carrigtwohill Monday and Friday – Field based Tuesday – Thursday.
About Your New Job as Packaging Sales Rep
- Develops maximum sales potential through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the company's products and services as well as the competition's strengths/weaknesses.
- Build and maintain professional and ethical relations with customer representatives as well as internal employees.
- Maintain contact with customers as needed.
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts to increase overall market share and improve profit margins.
- Develop proposals to efficiently satisfy customer requirements by aligning existing capabilities with customer needs.
- Act as liaison between established customer representatives and internal support departments.
- Utilise available resources to continuously recruit new prospects and meet established new sales targets.
- Keep management abreast of account growth, attrition, new account opportunities and competitive activity through monthly sales meetings and daily interaction.
What Skills Are Needed as Packaging Sales Rep
- Experience in packaging sales
- Account management and business development experience
- Understanding of blueprints and CAD drawings.
