Simon Lehane

I am a Senior IT Recruitment Consultant for the IT Team in Sigmar which covers roles nationwide. I have 7 years' experience in recruitment, having worked across multiple disciplines with over 4 of those years specialising in IT recruitment. Prior to this, I had 4 years of customer facing roles including nearly 3 years in Sales. I also have a BSc in Genetics from UCC where I graduated from in 2013.

Specialist Areas:

I specialise in the recruitment of Software Engineers. The best part of this is the variety of roles, languages, technologies and tools that this can encompass. In Software Engineering and Development, a job title doesn't really tell the story. Similar titles can lead to varied roles. The success I have gained in helping Software Engineers to find their right role comes from understanding the company and the niche requirements of each role. As a result of this I have placed candidates with a variety of different skill sets whose primary focus was on differing skills such as Java, Python, Node, React, Angular, Unity, C#, .Net, DevOps, SRE, and more.

The companies I work with range from SMEs to Multinationals, from up and comers to household names. Working with a variety of companies allows me to assess what environment a candidate is looking for and help them to find the right company as well as the right role.
