Ella Flanagan

I am a Recruitment Consultant on the Dublin Office Support Team. I am a recent Graduate of the ERF Recruitment Practice Degree which I have been studying part-time for the past three years whilst also working with Sigmar Recruitment. I have gained invaluable skills and experience from applying my learning from my degree to my practical work. Some modules which have proven particularly relevant include Equality and Ethics, Talent Planning and Candidate Strategy. 

In my time with Sigmar I have worked with multiple teams, and have recruited for different industries, as well as public recruitment, sector which is highly regulated and taught me a huge amount around how to manage projects and learn large scale processes. I have also worked on our Sales team where I became a full 360 recruiter, and I am now working on Office Support Team, where I have been growing my desk since June 2023. Recruiting for different industries and learning the different markets has been hugely beneficial in helping me to grow my desk in my new division.

Specialist Areas

I specialise in the area of sourcing and placing Office Support professional into a range of various industries and roles. I rectuit high-quality candidates for roles including Administration staff (entry level to highly experienced), Operations (team leaders, managers), Reception and Front of House, Facilities Coordinators, Project Managers, Coordinators (team, admin, project), Office Managers, and Personal and Executive Assistants.

I was invited to join the Office Support team because of my high emotional intelligence, which is a really important characteristic when sourcing and supporting Office Support candidates. Being able to get to know our candidates and clients better, and to the discuss and understand what is motivating people, is the key to a successful and lasting placement for all. I have developed myself to become a specialist in recruiting for very senior level roles and managing high-level candidates. Since joining team Office I have brought skills, systems and learnings from other teams which I have been able to apply to the Office Support Team. Ine example being Hinterview, where I have provided my team with training on Hinterview and best ways in which it can be used best to benefit our candidates and clients.
