About Your New Job  

The Finance director will occupy a critical role within the business. You will need to be adept at devising strategy, forecasting and planning, as well as leading others within the vision of the business. High-level business and financial acumen are both required. Key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all financial activities of the business.
• Providing the Managing Director with strategic financial management advice.
• Undertaking financial planning and directing the financial operations of the business, from high-level to project planning levels.
• Maintain and develop the finance function within the business.
• Contribute to overall strategic planning as a key member of the Management Team.
• Analyse financial data and create reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties.
  
  

What Skills You Need  

• 10+ years’ experience as an Accountant with a proven track record operating as a leader in a senior accounting role.
• Experience working in the construction sector as a Financial Controller or Finance Director. This is a ‘must’.
• 5 years + people management experience.
